I know, I know. The posts are few lately. Sorry...things are a little stressful now.
Remember when (well, maybe you are still there) you were in highschool and had no worries...they said enjoy it because those were the best years of your life...remember...yeah.
Well, I don't know if I would consider those the best years of my life...but I loved not having a care in the world.
So as we decide if we should stay or go...between the bomb dropping that my DH is doing...I have done a little knitting.
I am happy to say that urban aran is back on...no worries, it blocks just fine.
A hat is complete and drying.
A new hat has begun.
I've knit somemore doll clothes and of course....
done a little holiday decorating....there's your friday eye candy!
Happy Thanksgiving and crazy shopping to all...

What's even stranger to think about is when you were a little kid. All you wanted to do was grow up so that you could make your own decisions. Who knew making all the decisions is so hard?!
Good luck making your decisions!
I always thought high-school was awful...but than sometimes I long to go back to the days when I had zero big decisions to make, no bills to pay, and life was much less complicated.
I know what you mean. How nice it would be to be say, three years old right now.
Best of luck with your decision-making, Carolyn.
No worries in high school?!
Does that mean they're going to get worse?
You have the life I want right now... don't do it. But if you have to it better be closer to me.
CK
Hope things calm down soon!
I hear you - I've had a few bombs dropped lately by (not so) DH and have had a week of tough decisions and actions. Just make sure your tension is good - and you know all will be right with the world in a knit and purl whisper!! I love your posts, as do many others and send you many positive thoughts in your times ahead.
Carolyn, you (and your family) are in my prayers as you cope with life's unexpected hurdles :)
I was miserable in high school (and college, too)...too much teen-aged angst. BUT I really miss the innocent, no-responsibility-laden, carefree joy of being young and "taken care of." From health insurance to utility bills: All taken care of.
Now, not only do I have to take care of myself, I have to deal with the temptation posed by reading all your sock-related blog entries! I was just barely able to stop myself from spending a bundle on new yarn and needles...Must. Pay. Bills.
OMG!!!! Gnome figurines!!! I love it...thanks for the eye candy.
this is really cute! Wystful1 is having a holiday decorating parade of blogs. You should add this entry :D
