Bringing home the gold

It's knit. It's done.
The fronts and back pieces are blocking. I need to find a zipper that matches pronto! I haven't had any luck and it is too late to order one on line.

I finished the sleeves in a panic yesterday. I thought I was going to be short yarn. The requirements must be off for this pattern. (Gull Stitch Cardigan IK Winter) I will investigate and post it with the finished object.
Now, more blocking...a lot of seaming...sewing...and hoping that this baby will fit!

Go Canada Go!

Good luck finding a zipper. If you had to, you could order it and pay for overnight shipping. Hope you don't have to.

I don't like seaming, but the zipper would really give me the heebee geebees! (?sp) on that word, but I am sure you get the picture. It is beautiful and it appears to be a dark pewter grey! What did you think of our girls hockey team! Girls rule!

Looking great! I don't think I'll be able to finish the second scarf in time.

Looks fabulous. Waiting to hear that Canadian national anthem with you up on the podium!

Oh wow! That looks great. I hope you find the perfect zipper. The sweater is going to be gorgeous.

And I am also coveting your blocking board, where did you get it? I have a birthday coming up, maybe I can give my husband a blocking board hint.

Yay! congratulations on your olympic gold! I'd been eyeing that cardigan, so I'm glad to see someone's actually made it. Please, a modelling picture when it's sewn up?
