HEY LOOK...I've been knitting!

I've actually been knitting...not like that olden days when at this point you would be seeing a beautifully hand knit FINISHED sweater...but I am closer.

Air is progressing, slowly. It is a pretty simple knit. I love Kim Hargreaves designs. (go check out her latest baby designs). So feminine with the picot cast on and the moss stitch. I've always had this secret crush on moss stitch.
I am using Rowan's Calmer as the pattern calls for. This is from the stash...remember it is all about the yarn in the stash right now...no new purchases.

Oh, and after that last zipper fiasco...take a look at these lovely button holes...

YEAH FOR BUTTON HOLES!!!
Much better.

It looks great so far. I made a sweater a few years ago out of the Calmer and still love it. The yarn is very soft and has worn beautifully.

I love Kim's designs but can't afford a kit right now (via her website)... i'm hoping she'll considering selling just the pattern!? Ahh how can it just be the kits...

love your knitting! so beautiful, can't wait to see it finished

I think white is the perfect color to have all that texture like cables and moss stitch....so beautiful!

Oh, it's just beautiful. I have a total crush on Kim Hargreaves. She produces such lovely designs.

Aside from the obvious problem of less knitting time, how are you enjoying work?

I too love moss stitch, and cables are my favourite. Love the cardigan, it looks quite nice.

You may have slowed down, but you are still knocking out sweaters pretty fast! The picot edging is so pretty!

Yes, I figure it will be a while before any of us can face a zip close again. ;-) Lovely knit! A pleasure to see.

Oh my..that's beautiful. I wish I could wear white..but sad to say I have this inherent disorder where I actually dribble brightly colored bits of food on anything white I wear. I think my husband has actually caught this disorder...maybe it's sympathetic dribbling :). You think this sweater would look good in black?
