Still knitting...

I'm blogging from C.T. this week. Giving my sister a hand and trying to find a little time to knit. I thought of all you NY knit bloggers as I flew into LGA. It would be nice to meet up with other knitters, but that is not the priority of this visit....so maybe next time.

I finished the sheep dress...at least the knitting part...and have moved on to the booties.

Ahhhh, so close to the finish line on this one.

I also got a thumbs up for Connor and Christophers hats. Chris can't wait and keeps asking me everytime he sees me if I have finished sewing it yet!?
Maybe I can get to the LYS here a litttle later to pick up the colours they selected...

Have a great trip!

Those booties are even cuter than the dress. By far!

Hey Carolyn,

this is a rather general comment, but: I am an addict of your wonderful blog so I thought it’s about time I told you that one of the first things I do after switching on the computer every morning (I’m working on my thesis right now) is to click on the link to your site. I just like all about it – and you – so much. But let me tell you how I found you. About a month ago I was looking for a free pattern for a little crochet scarf – I googled it and ended up on your blog. Remember the lovely scarf you made? In orange (original in green?). I did a brown one. We had a very warm, lovely Indian summer so this scarf was just perfect. Since then I have been reading knitting blogs in general (whenever I’ve got the time) and yours in particular (always time for this one!) Right now I’m making mittens (it’s November, after all) and a warm scarf for my godchild (not crochet! ;-)). Oh, there’s one thing I forgot – off topic: your hair looks a lot like mine – just a bit “tidier”! Which anti-frizz- products do you use (I’ve tried some, but I always end up buying John Frieda’s great products)?
The sheep dress is awesome, btw.

CT as in Connecticut? If so, welcome to our state :)
Those booties are fantastic. I love that pattern so much, not to mention the cashmerino baby. I think a trip to the LYS is in order tomorrow.
I'm about to post my sad late blog entry to the DBKAL blog. I've been knitting this one particular sweater for over a year and have set it aside so many times. I joined your KAL so as to find the motivation to finish the darn thing.
And is that your test knit on the front page at Sundara's? Beauty!
