So, when you are as addicted as I am to knitting, and you are "cranking" out the knits left and right...what about buying all that yarn?!
Yes, there is a plan of one day winning the lotto...but until I start playing...enter Purly.
Test knit, me test knit?! YES of course.
You will send me the yarn?! YES send it.
Check out the colour of this yarn. (this is photo # 501, and I think I have captured the colour)
Gorgeous. I love, love, love it.
Everything you have heard about Sundara's yarn is absolutely true. It knits up and washes wonderfully. No bleeding, no fading. The colour is nothing I could every find in my LYS searches. Not pink, not red, but a gorgeous raspberry.
I don't want to compare it to yarn, because it is far superior to any...but it has similarities to koigu. Nuff said.
Go now and buy some...seriously.
Thank you Sundara!
What is it? What am I knitting...

Hi, Carolyn! I'm Miranda, and I was linked here yesterday by the lovely Grumperina. Then I read all of your archives, just to catch
up. Your knitting is incredible, truly. Reading your blog made me go upstairs, survey my current lack of projects, and resolve to go to the yarn store today! I think, (and I sort of think I'm wrong, too, but what the hey,) that you are knitting a Clapotis.
On to the yarn store!
Miranda
I love that color! Beautiful!
That yarn is GORGEOUS! How'd you get that gig, getting to knit for someone else? That sounds like hitting the knitting lottery, to me!
I know what it is ;) - and I think it will look super-fab in that color :)
Beautiful colour! Must look up the site of that yarn! Oh yes, do you knit Continental?
Lovely, lovely yarn! I've made my way here courtesy of Grumperina, like so many others, and have enjoyed looking at your blog :0)
You and G's blogs have been my favs for awhile. Insiring yarn buys, projects, and better knitting for awhile now. I'm mostly a lurker/luster but just had to comment today. Out of the 4 million blogs I have in my favs I read G's, yours, Knit n Tonic, and Eunny habitually no matter how lil time I have in the day. And what really amazes me is you have 2 wee boys. That definetly encourages this mom of 3!(2 boys ages 4 & 3, and one fairly new baby girl 8 months)
That yarn is stunning. You do beautiful work.
I love her yarn! clapotis?
Her yarn makes me drool. Honestly. I can't imagine what heaven it must feel like on the needles. Lucky girl, you. :)
Wow that yarn is really beautiful!
as always, knitblogging is a small world! i'm so glad grumperina posted your link, now i can follow along if you show any progress shots!
who wouldn't love to test knit with yarn like this?
Yay! I'm so glad you like the yarn. Your photos of it are so pretty!
That IS beautiful yarn. I'm hoping to squirrel away enough yarn allowance to buy some Sundara Silk Lace.
