A two fer

I am behind a couple memes...so it's time I get caught up!
Way back when Christine tagged me for a meme:

Why do you Blog?
  • I started blogging to keep track of my knitting...now I realize that I have entered a world I won't return from!
  • I also just adore other knitters and when you give encouragement, opinions and guidance on my knitting.
Why do I read Blogs?

  • I love that there are other knitting fanatics out there. We seem to have so much in common!
  • The amount of knitting techniques I have learned in less than a year, from other knit bloggers is just unbelievable.
  • The trials and tribulations of knitting are just too entertaining to miss!
  • Free patterns by the knitting underworld...proven that they have been knit and work!

And another tag from Stephanie over at unwind...take a photo of your knitting spot:

Can you tell I've been sittin' knittin'? The cushion is a little flattened! I try to rotate between the love seat and the sofa, so the cushions don't show how much I knit!
(notice the progress on the FIL sweater? I am on to the sleeves....

Now who to tag...well, I know you are all busy knitting the christmas gifts, baking, decorating or just sitting around getting "merry"...so if you have the time, consider yourself tagged!

Thanks for answering the photo meme and I'll have to answer the blogging one. Good luck on the Christmas knitting.

I think the reasons behind the knitting blogging are going to be pretty much universal........good to know that there are others out there in cyberspace....thanks..;)

That looks like a comfy knitting spot. And those are excellent reasons for blogging!

I agree, I too have learned so much about knitting from reading other blogs. And, since none of my friends around here knit, it's a great way to be involved in the knitting community.

What a lovely house AND beautiful child!

Thank you for blogging, you're vastly entertaining. :) It's nice to know that in some circles, yarn addiction is a normal thing.

Your knitting spot looks so relaxing!

My knitting spot looks like that too. All flat and obvious. When the cushions get reeeeaaaally bad I think I'll just buy some more foam for them since the covers zipper off. Looks like a cozy place to sit and knit!

Well I am completely agree with this article of this site, because to check blogs of different topics is for to know more about what it is happening around the online sites
