Do you hear that?

Oh yes...the silence. Everyone is gone now. Don't get me wrong, I love visiting with my family...all of the children as well! Many, many children. We actually had the 13 grandchildren as well as another 7 children, belonging to various cousins, in my backyard and basement...it was nuts! Now I am just sitting...in the dust, sand, dirt...exhausted. (I can't figure out why there was sand in my bed last night!) I am so tired now that I can't even pick up my knitting. That is really tired!

I am still working on my DH's sock...hardly...

My SCP#2 is growing...slowly...

I still have the sweater front and back without sleeves...

and I have played around with "River"....

My drywall man came to touch up spots...and now the place is even a bigger mess. More drywall dust, great. The house looks like a bomb went off in it...really. Where I do begin. Now I have a whole other floor to clean. I can see that this is going to cut into my knitting time:(

Oh, that sucks! So much dirt and dust and sand. At least that scarf is gorgeous!

Yuck! That's a bummy, as my little guy would say. LOL!

I make little deals with myself. Like, if I clean for one hour, I can knit for fifteen minutes. Though I often somehow end up knitting for an hour, and cleaning for fifteen minutes!

Too tired to knit is really tired! Sounds like a good time though.

Egad! That is a lot of people in a house under construction!

I agree...clean and reward yourself with kntting, once you've rested!

KNITTING
A highway patrolman pulled alongside a speeding car on the freeway. Glancing at the car, he was astounded to see that the blonde behind the wheel was knitting!

Realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing lights and siren, the trooper cranked down his window, turned on his bullhorn and
yelled , "PULL OVER!"

"NO!" the blonde yelled back,"IT'S A SCARF!"
