SCP on the needles and contractions...

Christmas Knitting has officially started! The first SCP (Secret Christmas Project) is on the needles.

For those of you following along, Spring IK 2005 page 52. I am liking this Jo Sharp Silkroad Tweed. Very nice texture. I must say that I am getting really good at charts...only a glace here and there...after this first repeat there will be no need for the chart!

Oh yes, the contractions are not mine...Maria has been having them during the night...that baby could be on its way! I better pack up the Baby Blanket in the beautiful box I picked up and get ready to go!

I love the texture of that Jo Sharp yarn--it looks fab, Carolyn. Hope all is well :)

The color you chose is gorgeous; I like it so much more than the model's color. I wish I could touch the Silkroad's texture.

I have that same Jo Sharp! Great to see that it's working up in cables nicely.

Oh yum, that yarn looks delicious.

I have some too, but mines the Linseed and Oat-something.

Can't wait to see it progress (whatever you're making!) as I've no clue what to use my Linseed colourway for.
