Many hands.

A fellow knit and chatter had to go in for some surgery last week...so the group of us have been very busy knitting up an afghan for her! I did offer to seam it up...and thankfully got some help from Heather and Liz!!

Afghan

It turned out just perfect.

Karen made it out for a visit to the knit and chat friday proving a little hip replacement surgery doesn't slow down a knitter!

Things are being knit and ripped over here...some finished knits and some new exciting ones to show you...I just need the time to sit and blog about it. Maybe tomorrow;)

Beautiful! Usually when I've seen afghans of various squares they are seamed together so the seams don't show and they look more of a mishmash. With the black yarn in between and around the whole, the blanket actually looks more cohesive. Well done!

You did a fantastic job finishing that. Did you crochet it together? What a gorgeous gift of love. Knitting friends are the best. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for your friend.

The squares are seemed together very nicely. Is there a particular technique you use?

'seamed' how embarrassing.

That is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! How did you seam it up? Mattress Stitch? 3 needle bind off? what did you do to make it so pretty?
