I am a little late for serious sock knitting...but who says I can't celebrate Sockvmber...or Sockember...or Sockistmas...ok, I will stop now.
Started: Nov. 11, 2008
Finished: Nov. 25, 2008
Pattern: Mad colour weave socks found on ravelry.
Yarn: Lana Grossa Meilenweint Cotton in black. 2 balls
Adjustments: I did a couple minor adjustments. I knit the large size for the leg and went down to the med size for the foot. I also added a pattern repeat in the leg making it a little longer. I would have liked to make the leg longer, but wasn't sure about the yardage. Now that they are knit...I could have done a couple more repeats...oh well.
Started: Nov 19, 2008
Finished: Nov. 25, 2008
Pattern: Retro rib socks from Interweave Knits 2004 also can be found on ravlery.
Yarn: Kroy sock 4 ply in blue. 3 balls
Adjustments: None except for making the foot longer than the pattern.
All packed up and ready for Christmas!
Look at me, knitting two pairs of socks and another on the go!
It's like the good ole days of knitting around here.

yes, you really are the fastest sock knitter.. its amazing both pairs are done! and they look so professional in custom wraps.
Holy cow, two pairs of beautiful socks! I'm very impressed. I love your sock wrappers, too.
I think you've found your groove! And i'm glad your blogging about it too.
Wow! They are beautiful.
Nice socks, but I love the wrappers! What a great idea for gifts. I think I might have to make something like that for the pair I am giving this year. So much nicer than just wrapping them up in a box.
Oh, I like your socks, and I love how you've labeled them, too.
May I suggest "Sockmas"?
We'll just call you the "Sock Speed Demon"! What great labels. I've knit the Mad Color Weave myself - what a great pattern!
Can you give some tips/instructions on how you did the wrappers? I have a pair of thrummed mittens to give, and I was going to use the wrapper from the kit (Fleece Artist). LOL.
