I made it through the storm.
Finally...
Started: January 28, 2007
Finished: March 11, 2007
Pattern: Air from Kim Hargreaves Calmer Collection
Yarn: Rowan Calmer in cream
Adjustments: None. I could have tightened up the gauge a little...it is bigger than I would have liked. Definitely not a negative ease sweater, but I kind of like the change. I wonder how it would fair in the dryer? I think I will throw the swatch in before I put the sweater in. I just don't think it will tightened up width wise. We'll see.
All in all, I do love it. What a great sweater for the spring!
A close up on some detail...
The pocket flaps are cute...but they go right over to the arm pit. They really could be omitted...but I kind of liked them.
This knitter is ready for spring...I finally knit something I like for 2007!
What's next?!

So beautiful on you. From the pics it doesn't look too large, but like a perfectly flattering fit. I'm so glad you persevered.
Congrats, it looks beautiful!
That's so cute! It looks like a jeans jacket in styling...perhaps that's a 'duh!' thing, but it's the first I've noticed it. Nice job and you look smashing in it (of course).

Welcome back knitter. We all new you would succeed. =)
Air is really fab ! you look great.
Don't chuck it in the dryer ! It WILL shrink. Too much. In all directions. There's a reason it says do not tumble dry on the label. I discovered this with a large swatch, luckily.
That is an incredibly beautiful sweater, and it looks great on you!
What a beauty! This is a perfect sweater... easily dressed up or down. The "jeans jacket" front pockets are a great detail. I'm glad you didn't omit them. Let us know how the swatch/sweater behave in the wash. You look fantastic, as always!
It looks fantastic!!
That is a gorgeous, gorgeous sweater! I've dried a cotton hand-knit sweater before, and it tightened up my gauge a perfect amount.
