Don't get me wrong, I am really loving my Forecast sweater...but with the tastes of spring weather that we have been getting, I really don't want to finish knitting it.
I just have the right arm to knit and the button bands. I am so close, yet, I just don't want to knit it. I sat down the other night and forced myself to knit the one arm. Sometimes I just have to do that to finish. Here is a close up of the 3 stitch bobble I am making instead of the 5 stitch bobble.
Thankfully it is calling for snow tomorrow...maybe I'll be able to wear it once this year. If I knit the next couple days...I'll be able to wear it this weekend...

That's the problem, isn't it, knitting woolen things as the seasons change. I hope you'll get a chance to wear Forecast at least once before putting it away until fall. You chose a fantasic yarn and color for showing off the textures of the pattern!
Great color for Forecast! I am looking forward to seeing the finished sweater.
It's snowing here right now! Wish I had gotten around to making Forecast :(
Beautiful! If you lived here on the coast, you would use the sweater all year around. It can be cool here in the evenings, even in summer!
I love the color and the 3-stitch bobble, rather than a 5-stitch bobble. You don't want your bobbles to be too bobbly!
Forecast is looking so good! You can finish it, you're such a quick knitter, it will be done in no time.
Great color and texture! Once you finish it, there will be a late spring rebound into a winter snow,so you'll get a chance to wear it....
It's beautiful!
oh that is gorgeous! what a colour! hurry up and finish it - for your readers, if nothing else ;-)
I feel the total opposite. Spring may be approaching but I have winter sweaters I will be starting soon! I'm a knit "wool anytime of the year" girl!
good luck finishing it!
I do that alll the time! Right now I have 2 sweaters that are 95% completed, but I just can't bring myself to finish them! *sigh* and I keep on casting on more new projects!
THAT BRINGS UP A GREAT IDEA.
WHY DON'T YOU START A SWEATER AND THEN MAIL IT TO ANOTHER KNITTER. NO WOOL ATTACHED AND LET THAT PERSON CREATE AND MAIL IT TO ANOTHER KNITTER ETC ETC AND SEE WHAT COMES OF IT. I THINK THAT WOULD BE GREAT FUN TO SEE WHAT THE GROUP OF YOU CREATE. I WILL BE WAITING FOR THE POSTING OF PHOTOS ON THAT.
