Thirteen days left...

Ok, I know that I didn't make a long list of christmas knits...but pressure is on. There are only 13 days left to get these done!

Don't worry...I am on a bit of a roll...





Pattern: Gentleman's Fancy Socks from Knitting Vintage Socks

Yarn: Patons Kroy Sock 4 ply 3 balls...with about a yard to spare!

Adjustments: I knit with a bigger gauge to make a bigger sock...easy. I also didn't like the toe as written and just knit a my standard toe.

Pattern: Aibhlinn Cowl from Knitty. I really love this pattern!

Yarn: Louet merino 2 skeins in Carribean blue...love the colour!

Adjustments: I actually knit as written until I ran out of yarn. The gauge is much tighter...but it looks great!

I don't know if I love this yarn. It doesn't seem to have much give when knitting it...kind of like cotton. It is really strange. It is suppose to be a worsted weight...but it is more like a dk for me. I think I just miss the sproingyness of the cashmerino;)



There...two more done! Some more FO's are blocking and will be ready for viewing shortly!
