SHE'S ALIVE!!!!!

butterfly bush, originally uploaded by cmeknit.

Look I am a gardener! I am definitely not a knitter right now...

It's Cambridge Ontario everyone...and so far so good. I have unpacked the last box...and I am sad to say that it was knitting.

The last box. Can you believe it.

Remember the days when I would knit up a sweater in less than a week. Now the knitting is the last to be unpacked.

I feel like there is so much to do...painting...ripping out an awful tub...more painting...ripping out carpets...more painting...installing a new ikea kitchen...buying a dishwasher...more painting...and the yard...well, I have been working on that as evident in the above photo. My sister Colleen ( the gardener) will make a gardener out of me. We have beautified the garden and added a few gems. Now I will have a little more to post about, hopefully soon it will include some knitting.

I am trying to enjoy my summer "off". The boys are loving it. We are always on the go...especially now being to close to our family. Guests just left and more are on the way. I am heading up to a cottage this week for a few days. So, do I pack the yarn for sleeves. I have two sweater that have complete front and backs...or finish a toddler sock that I was trying out the whole striped thing...or maybe I should start something new.

I could check out the LYS, which I have not done yet, and start a fall knit?!

congrats on the move! looks like you're enjoying some lovely weather... summer's too hot to knit anyways (I tried to knit with some really thick wool yesterday... big mistakes, I was sweating buckets!)

I'm glad you are settling in and able to enjoy family. I say work on the helical sock. Working in stripes was addicting for me.
It's good to hear from you again.

Great to see you 'back'. I hope that you enjoy the new house and that your knitting mojo will return in good time.

We just learned that we're moving to Kingston in September - should be interesting.
