Vacation Baby!

Finally...a vacation from work! 10 days in a row! I can't wait...although, if you're a mom, you know it's not really a vacation;)
What do I have planned you ask...

Well, there are two family reunions...one of which takes place over an entire weekend...and here in Windsor...so I will have a house full.

There will also be camping...yes, restful camping with the children...for four...yes FOUR nights...if I can survive it!

Possibly a trip to the states for some back to school shopping for the nephews...and maybe some fall shoes for these 10 1/2's!

Other than that, I am hoping to complete one of the two knitting projects I have on the go.

That is an update photo of the ribbon edged cardigan....if I just put my mind to it I could easily finish this in one night!

Can't wait to see the sweater finished - I have the pattern book and have yet to make anything from it.

Ooh finish the cardi before you go away camping. I have knit 2 of them and I loved both of them. It is such a pretty pattern. At least with camping the children will get tired and fall asleep early, and you will have time to knit. Enjoy your holidays.

Hi stranger. I've obviously missed a lot that's been going on with you. I'm happy you're back and have your knitting mojo back. Have a wonderful and restorative vacation.

Camping is always good for the soul. Plus you knitting has that interesting 'campfire' smell until blocking.

It's really good to see you writing and knitting again.

Enjoy! I hope you get some good knitting time. I love your blog. I was worried about you when no blogging and to learn about your sister was so sad. You have amazing strength and courage.
