Another knit on the needles! Can you even believe it!
Shifting sands is progressing just fine. I am almost half way there, and I am afraid that update photos won't be too exciting...so I started a second project. Also...I am getting some serious pain in my right thumb...could it be the cabling? Not to sure on this...but since I have put it down and started this new project, the pain is gone...hmmmmm.
A baby is expected in the fall for a friend...and I have this lovely Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino in yellow...so why not knit a baby sweater?
The pattern is from Special Knits and I am pretty sure it is called a ribbon edge cardigan (books not infront of me). I don't know if I will be using a ribbon edge, but I thought the stitch pattern was nice! This should be a very quick knit. Look for a finished project by next week...

I love the color!!
That's a sweet beginning, in a very sweet color!
what a lovely color.. I bet it will be beautiful
I just want you to know that it is nice to have you back. You were missed.
Beautiful colour. I love the new colours being used for babies. I got to see the twins that I have knit a few sweaters and hats for yesterday. That is I saw the babies yesterday!!
What is it that happens to our heart when those little ones wrap those tiny fingers tightly about our fingers? Makes the hours of knitting so worthwhile!
It looks darling so far, and that's a beautiful, buttery shade of yellow! I'm knitting a little baby hat out of baby cashmerino right now, and I'm loving the yarn.
Do you ever have trouble blocking a finished garment with DB Baby Cashmerino? I've tried just water, just steam, wet towel, but the surface gets matted. Any solutions? I love her patterns and the gauge of this yarn. Thanks
This looks lovely - it's a great unisex pattern (if you leave off the ribbon trim!)
I have knit the same cardigan 2 times now, and attached the ribbon too. I love the pattern as it is so simple and pretty. Your color looks so sunny and bright too.
I love this pattern and the color is amazing! paty ballarin fontes

The sweater is lovely, lovely, lovely. I also just read your entry about your sister. I am so very, very sorry. May each day bring you and her family increased peace and acceptance.
It is a beautiful colour and it look soft and buttery.
Isn't the little girl in that photo beautiful? And that sweater is so sweet.
