Is it finished?

We just got back from my parents house. Getting a little r&r....this is very hard with two little ones, but we survived. I had been working on grumps t-shirt...until I tried it on....I need to do a little ripping...the size just isn't right. Not to worry...I said the next project will actually fit me, so a ripping and reknitting I will go!
"Harry" is just flying along...love those aran weight yarns! Front and back are complete and the sleeves are cast on together.
The neverending baby blanket is finished...I think. I am not sure about the edging now...may be it is a little too girly. What if she has a boy? Will that edging work for a boy? Also, I haven't measured the blanket...but I am very close to running out of yarn for the edging. I was sure that I had more than enough for the full blanket...hmmmmm....I need one of those scales you all have been weighting your yarn with!
Here she is...finished...or close to it....

What a lovely blanket!

I'm all for tinkering as you go, as you can see from my ribby woes. I hope to make one of grump's tees this summer, too. :)

I think the blanket is quite lovely for a girl or a boy! Or for, you know, a grown-up like me! Hehe... I hope you're able to finish it without trying to locate more yarn.

It's absolutely lovely!! I think that edging is just fine for boy or girl - I've been known to put scalloped edgings on baby blankets regardless of the sex of the baby - I just have to, it's a sad addiction. I just ordered this DB book and I'm going to be making that in a butter yellow.

The baby blanket is moving really fast! I agree that it could work for either a boy or girl - the edging gives it character, but its not too girly at all.

I definitely agree that the edging is fine for a boy or a girl. The blanket looks beautiful and will be great with or without the edging!

Hope everything works out with the T....I'm looking forward to seeing yours all finished!
