One two three...four five six...one two three...

My DH signed us up for ballroom dancing lessons as a birthday gift...and last night was our first lesson! It actually was a lot of fun. We learned the waltz...one two three...

So, there was little to no knitting last night...then of course I had to rush home to catch ER and Greys Anatomy...exhausted, I only knit a couple rows.

Some have asked how much time I devote to knitting...
Well, you do understand that it is an addiction, right?

Basically I knit at night...like 7 till 11 or midnight (depending on how exciting the project is that I am working on). I watch TV and knit. Sometimes I can get an hour of knitting in during the day...some days that I feel particularly lazy, I might get a few hours in during the day.
I am not one to carry my knitting with me when out and about. With two little ones, I need to have my hands free at all times.
I always have at least two projects on the go and when I knit, I knit to complete something. Be it a section of decreases, increases, an arm, a ball...whatever. I kind of set little goals each night.

So there you have it...I have no life, besides my new Thursday evening dance class...I knit.

Boring progress...the kilt hose are still moving...

FYI this is a unisex pattern. I think there is a fine line between feminine and masculine lace patterns...but this one really would work for both.

We have the same knitting schedule! But I think you have been doing it longer than I. And you are, undoubtedly, much more efficient. I hope you enjoy your ballroom dance lessons, I took two classes with my husband and it was disastrous. I have two left feet!

The dance lessons sound so fun.

I am newly addicted....I carry mine with me. My youngest is 5 so I can get away with it. After school at the park she is playing with pals...I knit. Driving in the car (as a passanger...Lord imagine if one could drive and knit what we could accomplish)...I knit. Waiting for something on the stove...I knit. On the bus...I knit.

My youngest daughter and I were walking home the other day and I was talking, walking and knitting a sock. Mulity tasking.....eerrr I mean addiction.

OK, I had my knitting in my lap last night, but there was NO WAY I could knit during ER .. could you? (Grey's is on tape ... still looking forward to that one.)

That is about how much I knit too, although without the wee ones, I take mine into public and knit there as well.
Hubby and I have discussed dance lessons, we want to learn some of that fancy schmancy swing dancing!
What yarn are you using for the kilt hose? I really like them, and that yarn looks scrumptious!

I wish I could get my Mr. interested in something like that. Sounds like fun and great exercise.

I snatch knitting time during naps and after bed. In the car is prime knitting time too. I can't carry knitting around with me though. So I have a bag that is just for the car and always has a few projects on short needles or cables.
