Grumperina's t-shirt

Start: June 3, 2005 (this is the restart date...the other was frogged!)
End: June 7, 2005
Pattern: Grumperina's t-shirt
Yarn: Knit Picks "Shine" in orchid. 6 balls. Machine washable! Yes, it worked, all is fine...I will be wearing this t-shirt often, not only because I love it, but because I can throw it in the wash!
Gauge: 22sts over 30 rows with US#6 addis
Alterations: Basically the whole thing was altered and made for me and the gauge...Thank you Kathy! I did make the hip area a little bigger to accommodate my babymaking rollage! It seems to stretch a little once I washed it and as I wear it (to be expected with cotton). I will make another a little snugger and a touch shorter knowing it will stretch a little.

This is seriously a weekend knit! Love the yarn...I will make more out of "Shine". Hmmmm...... what colour next.....

  7. I'm so happy and impressed and full of joy for you and for Grumpy! And just a little bit jealous! :) I'm going to order me some Shine, too, and make a Tivoli, too, just like my friend Carolyn!!!! You look so great in this top.

    Okay,
I reallllly like that. Red is my favourite colour but this colour I would take. Size 1x please and a little more room around the waist for your big sister please. You are very talented! I think you should have some kind of a knitting based business. Let's all combine our thoughts on how Carolyn can make some cash and a career out of this hobby girls. P.S. please don't post pictures without your lovely face in the future.

    Your favourite sister Catherine

  20. That looks fantastic, and I'm going to make that size too from Grumperina's pattern. I have exactly 6 skeins of Shine to knit it with. Problem is, the colour is 5 Blush and 1 Orchid. Any advice on how to mix them?
